Dealing with chronic no-show patients can be difficult and at times,
frustrating. Your patients should be treated like customers but at the
same time, they should also show respect and concern
for their own health and wellbeing, as well as your
time.
The first time that a patient is a no-show isn't a big deal. nor should
you make it out to be. Who amongst us hasn't had an unexpected
flat tire, sick child or other such emergency that's caused a
missed appointment due to the sudden change in schedule?
The first sample letter is a suitable response for a first or second
time no-show patient.; the second letter takes a much
sterner approach.
Both sample letters; the First-Time No Show Letter and
the Second-Time No Show Letter are available for download, the
files are in Microsoft Word document format. To save the sample
letters to your hard drive, right click the applicable link and
select "save target as" or "save link target as', depending upon your
browser. |
